The subtle shapes created by light and darkness have captivated me for the last fifteen years. Working with monochromatic themes emphasizes these nuances. Paper's translucency, matte surface, and ability to be sculpted and painted has made it an important part of my photographic process.

Folding, bending, ripping, and cutting, I make constructon paper models. These simple sculptures indulge a longing for color and primitive shapes. For works with people, I have made large scale paper mache models.
