![]() ![]() ![]() Otha T. Sonnie Otha has thirty years of photographic experience in wet and now digital formats that have led him through many phases of camera work - photo journalism, special event, commercial product and portrait/model portfolio photography. While he continues to employ the use of traditional 35mm “wet-process” photographic techniques, Otha has shifted to the use of digital imaging equipment (cameras and scanners) to expand the creative process. This new medium, along with the use of image editing software, creates infinite possibilities of image creation, restoration and manipulation. Otha’s work has been exhibited throughout the United States and is included in private collections internationally. His most recent exhibits include shows at the Arlington Center for the Arts, where he teaches and maintains a studio, and the Newburyport Arts Association, where he is also a member. Additionally, Otha is a member of Medford Arts Center, Inc., the owner of Art I-magination studio in West Medford and a principal partner of The Photographic Collaborative of Arlington. Otha will exhibit more of his digital images and portrait photography at this year’s West Medford Open Studios. Other samples of his work can be found at www.ArtI-magination.com.
