Rich Truk My love of wild birds and animals led to my interest in nature photography. Most of the bird images I exhibit are taken during my annual trips to the Florida Everglades and Gulf Coast. I make frequent visits to zoos from Quebec to Miami to find apes, big cats and other creatures to photograph. During the fall foliage season I drive throughout New England to capture images of covered bridges, barns, country roads and other picturesque settings. In addition to exhibiting in the West Medford Open Studios and at the 13 Forest Gallery in Medford Square, I’ve had solo shows at the South Shore Nature Center and at various area framing shops. My photos have been published in American Driver magazine’s pictorial on the Mohawk Trail and in the Boston Globe calendar section. Some of samples of my work are on-line nature galleries are at www.richturkphotos.com. In addition to doing nature photography, I’m available to take pictures of parties and other informal family events: http://www.richturkphotos.com/gallery/2194454
