   Rachel Kadel-Garcia Biography Rachel Kadel-Garcia is a bookbinder and book and paper conservator. She holds an MA in Conservation Studies from the University of Sussex and a postgraduate diploma in Conservation of Books and Library Materials from West Dean College. Statement I bind books to connect with and preserve the historic methods of
the craft. I hope for every book I bind to be both beautiful
and useful, and for every book I conserve to carry both its content
and its physical nature more safely into the future.
