Biography Prior to opening the shop Virginia designed the costumes for the American Masters special, "Becoming Helen Keller" starring Tony & Golden Globe winning actress, Cherry Jones. In the fall of 2010 Virginia was the Wheaton College Artist-In-Residence, designing costumes, hair and makeup for the Department of Theatre and Dance production of "The Importance of Being Earnest." In January of 2011, Virginia's primary teacher of all things handmade, Nita E. Johnson, passed away. The loss of her grandmother has been what has energized her efforts to continue teaching others the beauty of the domestic arts.
