Biography
Catherine Ribes-DePalma was born in Lyon (France) in 1967. She now lives in the United States and has been teaching French and French literature at international schools since 1996. She declares herself a "late bloomer," as the Americans say, her calling to be a poetess coming late in life, even though writing has long been for her as much a need to say as a need to live.

In 2009, Ms. Ribes-De Palma founded and has since been writing for Imprévue, a bilingual literary and artistic magazine whose vocation is to unite authors and artists from France and America. She is the author of two poetry collections: Résurgences (passages of which were published in France in the magazines Passage d'Encres and Triages by Tarabuste Publishing Company), and J'aimais l'Ingénue, which is currently circulating between several editors. A bilingual Franco-American version of the collection Résurgences is in progress, which will be published in 2012.
