Biography
A Medford resident since 2000, I have been making pottery since 1990, but my interest in clay goes back to my days growing up in the Chicago area. By profession, I am a freelance writer and author; I have written four books on Boston history, including The Crime of the Century, which is on the infamous Brinks robbery of 1950s; East of Boston: Notes from the Harbor Island; and The Cocoanut Grove Fire.

I am a strong believer that art and artistic work should be part of daily life for everyone.
